Where do my files go?

Nowhere. They are read by your browser on your device; the privacy counter shows what is sent: zero bytes.

Do the stream tools connect to anything?

Only the chat ones, and only to Twitch: the chat overlay, alerts, subathon timer, chat games and markers read your public chat straight from Twitch as a guest. No login, no bot account, nothing passes through KIVO.

Why does a tool download something the first time?

The video engine (32 MB) and the speech model come to you, once, and stay cached. It is the opposite of uploading your file.

Do my level and achievements sync?

No: they live in this browser. That is the price of having no account — and the point.
