CS2 to Valorant sensitivity: the exact conversion
To keep the same aim from CS2 to Valorant, divide your CS2 sensitivity by 3.1818. From Valorant to CS2, multiply by it. At 800 DPI, 1.6 in CS2 is 0.503 in Valorant.
Convert your sensitivityWhy 3.1818
Each game turns one mouse count into a number of degrees: sensitivity × a constant, the game's yaw. CS2 uses 0.022, Valorant 0.07. The same hand movement turns you as far when the two products match, and 0.07 ÷ 0.022 = 3.1818.
cm/360 and eDPI
cm/360 is how far the mouse travels for a full turn: 360 ÷ (sensitivity × yaw × DPI) × 2.54. It is the number to compare across games and mice. eDPI is simply sensitivity × DPI, and only compares players of the same game.
- Under 25 cm/360: high sensitivity, wrist aim.
- 25–45 cm: the common middle.
- Over 45 cm: low sensitivity, arm aim.
FAQ
Is the conversion affected by field of view?
Hip-fire is not: the factor matches the turning speed exactly. Zoomed scopes use each game's own multipliers on top.
What about Apex, Overwatch 2 or Call of Duty?
Apex uses the same yaw as CS2 (no change); Overwatch 2 and recent Call of Duty use 0.0066, so multiply a CS2 value by 3.33.
