- No, and it says so up front. The models that invent plausible detail are tens of megabytes fetched from somebody else's server, which is the one thing this site does not do. This enlarges an image well; it does not add information that was never there.

- It scales in repeated 2× steps rather than one jump. Each step interpolates from a good source instead of stretching a bad one, and the edges come out noticeably cleaner. The optional sharpen puts back some of the crispness smoothing takes away.
- It failed on a big photo.
- A browser canvas runs out of room somewhere past 30 megapixels, and on a phone rather sooner. The tool warns before you cross that line — use a smaller factor.
