E-Invoice Viewer
Open an Italian electronic invoice, .xml or signed .xml.p7m, on your device: read it laid out, save a PDF copy, extract the XML and its attachments.
What it does
E-Invoice Viewer shows the whole calculation, not just the answer: every intermediate figure is on screen, so you can check it against your own numbers instead of trusting a single output box.
When you need it
Quoting, invoicing, or checking someone else's arithmetic — the moments where being roughly right costs money, and where the formula is easy to get subtly backwards.
Limits and caveats
Figures are unrounded until the final display, so results will not always match a calculation that rounded at each step. This is a working tool, not tax or financial advice, and local rules may differ. Everything happens in your browser, so the file never leaves your device.
How to e-invoice viewer
- Drop the .xml or .xml.p7m file you received.
- Read the invoice laid out: parties, lines, VAT, totals and payment.
- Save it as PDF, or save the XML and any attachments inside it.
Frequently asked questions
- What is a .p7m file?
- An e-invoice in a digital-signature envelope. The invoice is the XML inside; the envelope is why ordinary programs cannot open it. This tool opens the envelope and shows what is in it.
- Is the signature checked?
- No. Checking it means asking the certificate authority over the network whether the certificate was valid and not revoked. This shows the content and says so.
- Is the PDF a valid invoice?
- It is a courtesy copy, and says so on every page. The legal document is the XML that went through the Sistema di Interscambio; keep that.
- Do my files get uploaded?
- No. This tool runs entirely in your browser, so the file never leaves your device.
