Document Scanner
Scan documents with your phone's camera: the sheet's edges are found and straightened, the page cleaned up like a scan, and every page saved in one PDF.
What it does
Document Scanner converts between PDF and JPG, PNG and WEBP, rebuilding the content in the target format rather than renaming it. Each page becomes one output, and the reading order of the original is preserved.
When you need it
Common cases are a form that has to be filled in on paper, images that a portal will only accept as a single PDF, or a page that needs to go into a slide deck where an image drops in and a PDF does not.
Limits and caveats
Converting a page to an image flattens it: text stops being selectable and becomes pixels, which is worth knowing if the file has to stay searchable. Higher output resolutions produce noticeably larger files. Everything happens in your browser, so the file never leaves your device.
How to document scanner
- Drop or choose your JPG file.
- KIVO processes it instantly — no waiting for uploads.
- Download the result. That's it.
Frequently asked questions
- Does it work on a phone?
- Yes: tap to take a photo of each page. Put the sheet on a darker surface and the edges are found on their own; drag the corners if they are not quite right.
- Can I search the text afterwards?
- The PDF holds images of the pages. Run it through Searchable PDF (OCR) to add a text layer.
- Do my files get uploaded?
- No. This tool runs entirely in your browser, so the file never leaves your device.
